We went to Joe’s Shanghai in chinatown for their famous soup dumplings. We went half an hour before they were closing, so we didn’t have to wait at all- but I hear there’s always a long line otherwise.

There was a one-day pause with the rain, so I took the metro north up to Beacon to visit the Dia museum. It’s about a hour and a half ride from Grand Central Station.
I arrived early, so I went around Main Street first to get breakfast at Homespun Foods.

I walked down Carroll Garden’s row of the cutest little shops before I got together with Gretchen, Katherine, and Emily for my goodbye dinner.
We met up at Fette Sau BBQ in Williamsburg. It had the same exact atmosphere as Wurstkuche in downtown LA. There will never be brisket like this anywhere else.
